The Health Benefits of CoQ10
CoQ10: Deficiency of CoQ10 was associated with heart disease in the 1970s. Every cell in the human body uses CoQ10 for energy and production from free radical damage.
Cardiovascular Health: Statin Drugs Severely inhibit the production of CoQ10. Lowered CoQ10 levels reduce the efficiency of food to provide energy throughout the body which results in muscle pain and fatigue.
Protecting the Brain: Several studies have concluded that CoQ10 may provide protection and slow the damage caused by Parkinson’s disease and Alzheimers.
Macular Degeneration: The use of antioxidants have been found to reduce the oxidative damage in the macula of the eye. In a study test subjects were found to have statistically positive results indicating this as a possible treatment for macular degeneration.
Migraine: A study published in 2005 found that supplementation with CoQ10 100mg 3 times a day reduced the frequency of migraine attacks by 27%.
CoQ10 and Cancer: LCancer patients have been found to have lowered levels of CoQ10. It was found that supplementation with CoQ10 and other nutrients (Riboflavin and Niacin) reduces the risk of cancer reoccuring and spreading.
Other Uses For CoQ10: Enhanced male fertility, reduction in triglycerides, increase muscle regeneration, protection against plaques in the brain, prevent complications of diabetes, provide protection from hearing loss, enhance learning, extended life span, and protection against the stress of surgery.
